1. Non-incisional ( Suture ) Technique.

For suture technique, we use the DST ( double sutures and twisting ) method to make the natural appearance of double eyelid results. This suture technique is preferable for patients with thin skin, less excess fat in the upper eyelids or low eyelids.

This technique is ideal for those who want " quick double eyelid surgery " with less recovery time in few days.

At very low chance, the surgery may be complicated by irritation from sutures against the cornea of the eyes.

2. Incisional Technique.

The incisional technique is preferred for patients with thicker skin, excess skin, or thick eye muscle and

for those for which permanence is a premium. The incision may be tapered towards the middle and/or flared slightly upwards at the outer end, if desired.

Exact surgical technique will be different depending on patient's problems and preference. 

3. Mini incisional Technique.

If the patient has some excess fat , but no excess skin, another variation of asian double eyelids surgery is mini incisional technique. Small incision length at 0.8 - 1 cm. allows for fat removal. Although less permanent than incisional technique, its flexibility makes it a good option for young patients with no previous eye surgery.
