Carboxytherapy is an innovative technique to firm and improve skin texture and contour. It can decrease localized accumulation of fatty tissue in the neck, arms, abdomen, thighs, buttocks, hips, legs, ankles and knees. It can be used anywhere the skin has lost elasticity and tone and where subcutaneous fatty tissue has accumulated. It can be used in areas with cellulite as well as localized fat.

Consultation with our office will allow us to determine the different areas that need to be treated and if Carboxytherapy alone is warranted or in combination with other skin treatments.

Improvement in cellulite is gradual and the duration of treatment depends on severity. Liposuction does not remove cellulite and sometimes can make it worse. Between 10 and 20 sessions may be necessary to eliminate cellulite. Two sessions per week are optimal although even one per week should work. The number of sessions should depend on the extent of the cellulite.

Frequently, after the 5th session the skin looks noticeably healthier. Around the 8th to10th    session, the subcutaneous tissue is firmer.

Other treatments are Endermologie, mesotherapy and various laser devices.  Carboxytherapy has an advantage because it more effectively increases circulation, diminishes fluid buildup and increases the thickness of the skin in addition to killing fat cells. Carboxytherapy can be combined with mesotherapy or lipodissolve to produce more rapid results.
